The giant Whistler ski resort is located near the Canadian border, not far from the Pacific coast. In recent years, this place has been called one of the best resorts in North America. Whistler is also called the Canadian Alps because of its extraordinary beauty. Whistler has the highest vertical drop in North America, the largest ski area located above the tree line. In addition, it is one of the few places on the planet where you can ride a glacier.

The village of Whistler became very famous primarily due to the 2010 Olympic Games. Luge and skiing competitions were held here. This is a fairly young village, a favorite place for American youth who love downhill biking, downhill skiing and snowboarding.

The season lasts from mid-November to the end of May, about 205 days.
